A Quiet, Cozy Escape on a Private Northern Lake

Welcome to Greyling — a cozy , 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin nestled along Basswood Lake Road. This peaceful, one-story retreat offers comfort, quiet. Walk off your deck to the  access to your own stretch of private lakefront. Whether you’re relaxing on the deck, paddling at sunset, or roasting marshmallows by the fire, Greyling is your perfect getaway.

INSIDE FEATURES 

Bedroom #1 -  includes,  a double bed , 40 inch smart TV and a  air conditioning unit .along with fan,dresser and nightstand.

Bedroom #2 - includes a twin bed , fan, dresser and nightstand .

Clean bedding will be provided witch  includes - 2 pillow cases ,fitted Sheets and a comforter for each stay. Both bedrooms are also heated  and it can be controlled by the thermostat along the wall.

 

Bathroom includes  -(hot and cold water) full size bathtub with shower attachment, sink  and toilet

toiletries are provided, such as toilet paper, body wash, hand soap.

 

Kitchen includes - full size fridge the freezer, microwave stovetop, and oven.  Along with the Keurig coffee machine and kettle for my  tea drinkers  .A sink and a range of cutlery 

PLEASE DO NOT DRINK THE TAP WATER . 

I will provide fresh spring water.  A blue jug , labeled  spring water in the kitchen.  Things like tinfoil, dishsoap, bags and paper towel will be provided.

 

 Inside Dinning room includes - a dinning table ,a smaller size couch ,Fan and lamp .The  thermostat is located beside the couch to control temperature in dinning area  (heat only).

 

OUTSIDE FEATURES

Outside dinning area includes-  padio set (table , 4 chairs, umbrella . The BBQ is ready, with a spare propane tank located near stack of fire wood

 

Fire pit includes- a bench and chairs for seating. The area is lit by solar lights running through the trees. The switch is located on the soar panel ( roof of the short  wood shed )  unfortunately Fire wood is not included. I do offer a generous amount of firewood for 20dollars . There will be a stack of firewood and cardboard along the grey  woodshed .Please be mindful possible fire bans. Look online or check with local fire department. 

Fish cleaning station includes- a knife , stainless strain table with a sink ( a bucket will be provided for washing the table until I have a proper watersystem for it )

PLEASE , do not throw  fish guts near the dock. There's either a dump down the road or paddle to the middle of the lake and expose of them. 👌 

Lake Access:

Greyling sits right on the shores of a private lake — no marinas, no crowds. Just peace, quiet, and your own piece of water.

Two Private Docks just steps from the deck  

One dock includes a bench for sitting and soaking up the view

The other dock gives you access to your canoe and paddle boat, ready for peaceful cruises or a bit of exploring

 

Daily Cost  130$/night ( 3 days minimum)

Enjoy the freedom and privacy of being on a private lake, surrounded by beautiful northern forest, without the noise of busy marinas or crowds. A cozy and bright 3-bedroom, 2-story cottage tucked away down scenic Basswood Lake Road. This quiet, lakefront retreat is the perfect place to unwind, explore, and reconnect with nature — whether you’re here to fish, paddle, or just soak up the sun.With an open concept design connecting the living romm with the kitchen and dinning area . The cottage has 2 (55inch×47inch) windows , including  a (38inch ×45inch ) viewing the lake. Giving the opportunity to view the lake from anywhere on the first floor 👌

The "blue fin" is wrapped with 450+ square/foot  of decking .  Along with another 350+square/foot of floating docks , decks,  and  pontoon .

There's plenty of room to relax on or along the water.

If laundry is a must, there's laundry soap  located near the  washing machine. The clothesline located behind the house.
